Joyce Hsieh is a public relations executive with nearly 10 years of PR agency and corporate communications experience focused on building thought leadership and brand awareness for healthcare, medical device and life science companies. She is experienced in managing cross-functional teams, vendors and agencies from development of strategy and materials, through tactical execution of campaigns. Joyce specializes in media relations with national, professional trade and local market experience.
Previously, Joyce managed and executed all activities relating to marketing communications, brand reputation, strategic planning and social media initiatives for the Nihon Kohden America Patient Monitoring division. Joyce developed and launched the first online social community for Nihon Kohden America, uniting nurses, physicians and hospital executives in a discussion around quality and hospital economics.
Prior to this, Joyce served as an account executive at Porter Novelli Life Sciences/Canale Communications, specializing in media and investor relations campaigns for biotech companies ranging from start-up through FDA approval and launch.
Joyce graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a bachelor of arts in communications.
