Ashley Cadle has nearly 15 years of healthcare communications experience working to provide strategic counsel on product approvals and launches, corporate marketing, issues management, third-party alliance building, trade and mainstream media relations and education campaigns. Among other accomplishments, Ashley has implemented national, professional and grassroots campaigns for Roche, DePuy Synthes Companies, Covidien, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, BioMarin and Allergan.
Over the last year, Ashley helped guide KYTHERA Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. to bring to market their blockbuster drug, KYBELLA™ both pre and post approval including the strategic media relations surrounding the FDA Advisory Committee Meeting, the FDA approval and the post approval marketing activities. This led to KYTHERA becoming the “most attractive takeover target” in the industry and a $2.1 billion acquisition of the company.
For DePuy Synthes Companies, Ashley oversaw the strategic development of multiple consumer campaigns that received national media attention including USA Today, Fox and Friends and ABC News, as well as received multiple awards including a CLIO Healthcare Award. The campaigns were patient education campaigns about osteoarthritis, were fully integrated and included healthcare professional communications as well as tools, resources and incentive programs for the company’s salesforce.
For Roche, Ashley spearheaded professional and patient communications for the company’s ACCU-CHEK and COAGUCHEK brands supporting the company’s programs for patient self-management for both diabetes and atrial fibrillation.
Ashley also recently led Covidien in a ground-breaking campaign bringing together multiple medical societies and a celebrity to launch an awareness campaign and a coalition for varicose veins. The campaign received national media attention and praise from the medical community.
In her work for Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Ashley pioneered the development of a one-of-a-kind healthcare professional education program that won the accolades of the American Diabetes Association as well as American Association of Diabetes Educators.
Ashley is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with an emphasis in public relations as well as a minor in business administration.
