Jennifer Greenlief is a healthcare communications leader with more than 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations. She provides strategic counsel to her clients and is a skilled writer. Jennifer executes campaigns in the areas of media relations, social media, website content, event planning and community outreach along with other PR and marketing projects.
Prior to joining Merryman Communications, Jennifer served as director of provider services for MemorialCare Medical Foundation, where she was responsible for a team of 15 encompassing provider relations, credentialing and physician marketing. Her team was responsible for managing the physician network for Greater Newport Physicians, MemorialCare Medical Group and also launched several ACO networks. Prior to her role at MCMF, Jennifer oversaw physician relations, physician marketing and business development efforts for Long Beach Memorial and Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach. In that role, she was responsible for building surgical volume for the adult and pediatric hospitals and led the recruitment of several high profile medical directors. She spearheaded all physician-targeted communications and worked closely with physician leaders on strategy and communications. She also developed a myriad hospital communications materials. She served as editor of the hospitals’ physician newsletters, developed copy for the physician Intranet site, and planned physician CME events. She also developed case studies, physician profiles and other marketing collateral.
Prior to joining MemorialCare, Jennifer served as a public relations consultant for eight years. She worked with clients in a variety of industries including healthcare and government. She managed branding campaigns and developed website content, annual reports, media kits, bylined articles, and video news releases for her clients. Earlier in her career, Jennifer served as an account executive at two PR agencies, including one healthcare PR agency, Communicore, where she managed projects for emerging technologies in healthcare.
Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from California State University, Long Beach.
